Privacy and local label processing
LabelChop is designed as a desktop workflow tool.
The desktop app processes label files locally on your computer after activation. This means your normal label printing workflow does not require uploading every label PDF to a cloud service for cropping.
What internet is used for
Internet may be needed for:
Account login
Trial/subscription activation
Updates
Support/contact tools
Sensitive information
Shipping labels can contain recipient names and addresses. Treat them as sensitive documents.
Do not send LabelChop support:
Passwords
Payment card numbers
Unnecessary customer data
If support needs an example PDF, redact anything sensitive where possible or ask what is required first.
